The game launched to critical praise and mostly positive player reviews, citing majorly improved graphics over its predecessors and attention to detail. The game was officially announced at Microsoft's E3 2019 press conference, suffering several delays before finally being released on Apthrough Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is the first and only game run on TT Games's in-house nTT engine. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does a fine job of reinvigorating the Lego game formula, even if it continues to be mired in gargantuan amounts of busywork. The Skywalker Saga’s competent design is elevated by its infectious, charming sense of humor. With a couple of exceptions I spoke about in my review this is a solid game. Overall, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a homerun for the Star Wars gaming community.
